This Privacy Policy explains how HungryGet, developed by Sotec USA LLC ("HungryGet," "we," "us"), collects, uses, and shares personal information when you use our mobile app and related ordering experiences (the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

1. Scope

This policy applies to: (i) guests who browse, place orders, or create an account in the HungryGet app; and (ii) merchants who appear in the app. Merchants are independent businesses with their own privacy practices; when you share information with a merchant, their policy governs that use.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information in three ways: you provide it, we collect it automatically, and we receive it from partners.

Information you provide

• Name and contact details (e.g., email, phone).
• Account credentials (if you create an account).
• Order details, special requests, and preferences.
• Payment method token/last-4 via our payments provider (we do not store full card numbers).

Collected automatically

• Device and app info (device model, OS, app version, language, crash logs).
• IP address and coarse location; precise location only if you enable it for features like nearby merchants.
• Usage data (screens viewed, taps, referral source) for security and analytics.

From partners

• Fraud prevention, payments, and analytics providers may send us risk and performance signals.

3. How We Use Information

• Provide and improve the Services (ordering, payments, support, personalization).
• Recommend merchants, remember preferences, and speed up checkout.
• Secure the Services (detect, prevent, and investigate fraud/abuse).
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
• With your consent or where allowed by law, send service and occasional marketing updates (you can opt out).

4. How We Share Information

• Merchants: We share what is needed to fulfill your order (e.g., items, name, contact for pickup or delivery, special requests).
• Service providers: Hosting, payments, analytics, messaging, and customer support vendors under contract and only for our purposes.
• Compliance and safety: If required by law, to protect rights, or prevent harm or fraud.
• We may share aggregated or de-identified data that cannot reasonably identify you.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We (and our providers) use SDKs and cookies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure usage, and improve performance. You can limit certain tracking via device settings (e.g., reset ad ID, limit ad tracking) or in-app controls where available. Some features may not work without these.

6. Your Choices

• Account and profile: You can view or update account info in the app or contact us.
• Marketing: Opt out via message links or device settings. Service (transactional) messages will still be sent.
• Location: Disable precise location in device settings; the app may still use IP-based coarse location.
• Deletion: Request account deletion from the app or by contacting us. We may retain limited data as required by law or for legitimate purposes (e.g., fraud prevention).

7. Data Retention

We keep personal information only as long as necessary to provide the Services and for legitimate business or legal purposes (e.g., tax, accounting, fraud prevention). Then we delete or de-identify it.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No system is 100% secure; keep your device and account credentials safe.

9. Children

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child under 13 provided information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. International

We may process information in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this policy. If changes materially affect your rights, we will take reasonable steps to notify you. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the changes.
